The Portland Mercury put out a Halloween "dress-up issue" that mimicked National Geographic:
Rather than suing (the yellow band is a trademark), National Geographic sent the paper's staff a letter thanking them for the flattering imitation, and encouraged their readers to check out National Geographic Magazine. Via.
